Funnels and conversions

Mark your goals and watch the path people take to convert, so you can see where you're losing them.

A goal is an event that's worth gold to you: a purchase, a sign-up, a contact. A funnel is the path to get there. Together they tell you not just how many people convert, but where you lose them.

Goals

Turn any event or page into a goal. From there, Oculy shows you how many conversions you get, how they trend and which sources and pages bring them.

Funnels

Define the steps someone takes to convert. For example:

Landing → Form → Thanks → Sale

Oculy shows you how many people move from one step to the next and, above all, where they drop off. That step with the most drop-off is your biggest chance to improve.

Each step can be a page or an event. On event steps you pick your events straight from a list (including the ones you created without code and your conversions); no need to remember the name.

Save your funnels

When you build a funnel that works for you, save it with a name. It stays at the top as a quick shortcut to view it again, edit it or delete it whenever you want. Each site has its own.

Segment the funnel

Look at the same funnel on mobile only, or for one campaign only. Often the problem is in one specific spot, not everywhere.
