Cookieless privacy

Why Oculy doesn't need a consent banner and how you stay compliant from minute one.

Oculy measures your site without touching your visitors' browsers. No cookies, no fingerprints and no storing personal data. That's why you don't need the consent sign.

Why there's no banner

The cookie banner exists because most tools leave traces on the device of whoever visits you. Oculy doesn't do that: it counts people anonymously, without accessing their browser. If there's nothing to store on the device, there's nothing to consent to.

What we never store

  • IP addresses
  • Names, emails or phone numbers
  • Cookies or identifiers that follow a person
  • What people type into forms

What you do measure

  • How many people come in and where they come from
  • Which pages work and which don't
  • Countries, devices and sources, always in aggregate

One less hassle

With no banner, your visits go straight to your content. A better experience for them and cleaner data for you.
